The word ‘capitalism’ has been famous in academic circles throughout the world for the last two centuries. The intellectual class has developed its own ways to understand the complexity of the capitalist system. Once again, capitalism as an economic system has become the subject of criticism and opposition due to its very nature of acute exploitation. The failure of capitalism to meet the people’s expectations has again prompted a social resistance movement everywhere. The dissatisfaction of people with last century’s alternative model, in the form of state capitalism, has strengthened the question of an alternative for a better and equitable society in future.
